Crash And Burn XV
Ever wonder how comedians actually build a set from scratch? Crash and Burn is your chance to watch it happen live. Started by Chicago comedian Tim Slagle, this series of shows challenges three nationally touring headliners to join him in writing and performing 20 brand new minutes of material. Forming a set from a blank page to a finished act, in front of a real audience.
Over five nights, September 29-October 3, the comedians workshop and rework the material after each show and over lunch the next day, sharpening it night by night. The only rules: the material has to be fresh, never performed on stage before, and it has to be funny.
This year, joining Slagle are comedians Cy Amundson, Kristen Toomey, and Andy Haynes.
