His Lebanese-Canadian roots bring depth and perspective to his storytelling, earning him a spot on Vulture’s 2024 “Comedians You Should and Will Know” list. Named a New Face at JFL Montreal 2022, he went on to tour nationally and earned viral acclaim with one of Don’t Tell Comedy’s most-watched sets, racking up over 3.5 million views. Before this, Malik won Top Comic in his home city of Calgary, recorded sets for television at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and CBC's New Wave of Standup, and performed the titular track of the Just For Laughs originals album ‘Yeehaw Hell Yeah’.
