K.P. Anderson
K.P. Anderson is an Emmy Award-winning writer and producer, and a native of Minneapolis where he got his start as a standup comic in 1990, becoming a regular headlining fixture at Acme and throughout the Midwest before touring the world, including multiple appearances at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and a show at Carnegie Hall.
He's best known for spending 12 years as Executive Producer and Head Writer of The Soup with Joel McHale. His producing and writing credits include Pickled with Stephen Colbert, Norm Macdonald Has a Show, The Joel McHale Show, and When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren, alongside work with comedy names like Kevin Hart, Nikki Glaser, Ken Jeong, Bill Maher, Wayne Brady, and Tim Allen.
He's currently showrunner of Hot Ones: Extra Heat on Netflix, and splits his time between television production and a return to his standup roots, bringing a new act back to the club where he started.
