Forge Your Path — K.P. Anderson
A 90-minute career seminar with KP Anderson, the Minneapolis native who's spent over three decades writing and producing in entertainment. KP got his start on the Acme stage, went on to write for NBC's Last Comic Standing, then spent 12 years as head writer and Executive Producer of The Soup with Joel McHale. His credits include work with Stephen Colbert, Nikki Glaser, Kevin Hart, Helen Mirren, Tim Allen, Colin Jost, and DL Hughley. He's currently showrunner of Hot Ones: Extra Heat on Netflix.
KP spends the first 40-50 minutes on what's worked (and what's stopped working) across his career, then opens the floor for Q&A. Built for comedians, writers, and anyone trying to break into production — how to get a show made, how to get in front of the people who fund projects, and how to survive an industry that changes every few years.
Doors at 3:45. Seminar runs 4:00-5:30. Free ticket to that night's 7:00 PM standup show included with purchase.
