Andy Erikson was struck by lightning as a kid, and that’s how she got her powers. It wasn’t so much lightning though as it was a curling iron, and she just kind of burned her ear. Actually no, it was lightning. Soon after, she decided to be a comedian. She was voted MVP at the Aspen Rooftop College Comedy Festival in 2009 and later that year she was a semi-finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award. Her favorite thing about comedy is making friends.
